Visit to Magnificent Kangra Valley, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie

18 Oct 2019

The students of Grade 9 and Grade 11 visited the Magnificent Kangra Valley, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie to explore and experience the environment, culture and traditions from 14 to 30 September 2019.

The students got the rare opportunity of getting a glimpse of His Holiness Dalai Lama. They were very enthusiastic to know about the Tibetan Culture and the very reason of their taking refuge in our country India. They had an opportunity of spending a day with the Gaddi Community of Bal village in Kangra district.

The other attractions of this trek were The Kangra fort, The Rock Cut temple, Mata Jwalaji temple, Gyuto Monastery and Norbulingka Institute. Learning Outcome: The students enjoyed Bumpy Jumping, Rope Climbing and Trekking. They were happy that many of them were able to come out of their fear and gained confidence. The White River rafting was the most amazing and thrilling lifetime achievement for them. The visit to the Local School surprised our kids that how within limited resources the girls were able to achieve so much in life. They were able to exchange their experiences with each other and it was learning for them. Where ever our children went they were being appreciated and applauded for being in time, disciplined, not wasting food, following the instructions etc.
