JIRS promotes the idea of unity in diversity and requires students to learn about various cultures, customs, and celebrations. As a result, they are able to engage with a wider range of social groups and feel more secure and educated about every aspect of life.
On 25 November 2022, JIRS observed Karnataka Formation Day as Karnataka Rajyotsava. It was great to hear kids explore the rich culture of Karnataka and the significance of Karnataka Rajyotsava. There was a PowerPoint presentation that highlighted the rich splendour of the stunning structures, mansions, waterfalls, poets, artists, monarchs, and freedom fighters. The students performed a variety of Karnataka dance styles, such as the Kamsale, Kolata, and Yakshagana dances. The ceremony was attended by the entire school with zeal and enthusiasm. Students sang the national anthem and the state song and the principal and vice principal addressed the audience.
It was a memorable occasion, and the school looked lively. The entire campus blending in with the colours of the state flag was a stunning sight.
