JIRS organized 3rd Alumni Meet on 25 and 26 January 2019. It was time to renew friendships, reminisce about days gone by and share life experiences from the past and present.

The alumni came together for the reunion with great anticipation of meeting old friends and renewing their ties with JIRS. They thronged the campus and were joyous to meet and reconnect with so many friends and teachers whom they have known from “before”. The alumni interacted with the faculty members and students, and relieved the memories of the past and recollected their yesteryears in the campus.

They addressed the juniors with their thought-provoking messages. A cultural program was organized for them and they actively participated in the dance and tapped their feet to the beats of the music.

On 26 January 2019, the alumni participated in the Republic day celebrations, fun games and even toured the school. As they participated in the tour of the campus, they said under their breath how much had changed, and yet everything still felt comfortingly familiar. Their visit to the old dorms made them nostalgic. Their participation enriched the event. The reunion rekindled many memories of the alumni through the JIRS system and they were pleased to see that the spirit lives on.
