Wall of Fame

JIRS is rated as one of the best schools for Sports Education pan India by the Education World and Education Today. The Academy holds an ISO Certification since 2013. The football academy has been accredited by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) with a 2 Star Rating. The JIRS Tennis Academy accredited by the All India Tennis Association (AITA) with a 2 Star Rating. JIRS coaches are regularly selected by the Karnataka State Association to work with their state teams.

National Team Representations

  • Nabil Pillar represented the Saudi Arabia U-19 Cricket Team in the 2016-17 ICC U-19 World Cup
  • Abhishek Jha represented India in Golf at the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. Subsequently became a Professional Golfer on the Asian Circuit
  • Nammi Divya Teja, an International Diver represented India at the World University Games in Moscow

State Team Representations

  • Monisha P C and Lima Shan have been No 1 and No 3 in their home states Kerala and Nagaland respectively and represented them at the Nationals
  • Saurav Dhanotia a Table Tennis player was Ranked No 5 in his home state Sikkim and played in the senior nationals
  • Shobith Gupta was ranked No 1 in Karnataka and No 13 nationally. He reached the Semi Finals of the National Junior Championship
  • Nammi Divya Teja, Nammi Navya Teja and Shivang Agarwal have won National Medals, representing Karnataka state
  • Four JIRS Players have been selected for the Karnataka State U-16 Cricket Academy
  • At least 6 JIRS Cricketers have played for their respective state U-19 cricket teams in recent years, after passing out
  • Jayadevi and Karishma were a part of the Karnataka State Senior Tenpin Bowling team that won the National Championship
  • Mibom Tako Footballer Played for both Karnataka & Assam State Junior Football Teams

International Sports Achievements

  • JIRS won an International Cricket Tournament at Corfu, Greece, and finished runner-up at Melbourne, Australia, against prominent teams from UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Greece, UAE etc.
  • JIRS cricket teams have toured England and Sri Lanka more than once and won many matches
  • In Football, the JIRS U-18 team has participated in the Gothia Cup at Sweden, and played against teams from Brazil, US and Sweden
  • JIRS footballers also participated in a 7 day training camp at Real Madrid Football Academy and trained under their coaches. They have also participated in football tournaments in Sri Lanka
  • JIRS Tennis Players have played in the Main Draw of Asian Junior U-14 Championships featuring 6 countries at JIRS, and won matches
  • JIRS Tennis players have participated in a tournament and training camp at Sri Lanka
  • One of JIRS current Golfers has won two international titles in the Middle East

National Level Sports Achievements

  • The Football team won the CBSE South Zone Cluster Championship (both boys and girls teams), and qualified for the Nationals
  • The Boys football team finished National Runners-up, out of 150 plus participating schools. Two JIRS players won the Best Player and Best Midfielder Awards respectively
  • Five Riders from the JIRS Equestrian Team have won 3 Gold, 3 Silver and a Bronze Medal at the National Equestrian Championship
  • JIRS school team won the KSCA U-16 Div II Champions and is the only residential school team in Div I presently
  • Wonito Zhimomi Selected for The Mohammedan Sporting Club
  • Pranav Menon and Dev Dodhia were called for trials with the prestigious East Bengal and SESA Goa Football clubs for their youth development squads
  • Preet Paryani and Mast Denzil were selected for the prestigious Pune FC DSK Football Academy on scholarships

JIRS Recipients of International Sports Scholarships for Education at Foreign Universities

  • Mishal Javia won a Tennis Scholarship to Georgia State University US for his MBA
  • One of our players is currently pursuing a 5 year MBA in Sports Management at Griffith University, Australia on a 100% scholarship
  • One of our players is currently pursuing an MBA in Sports Management at Loughborough, UK, the Mecca of Sports Management Education, on a scholarship
  • Lima Shan selected as one of the Main Badminton player from University of Birmingham UK and received full year free coaching scholarship
