Social Responsibility

JIRS believes that society is a group of individuals and hence the change should begin at the individual level. As respect for humanity forms is a vital ethos at JIRS, we prepare students to develop social values, emotional intelligence, political leadership and economic prudence to face day-to-day challenges to create a harmonious society around us.

Education Breaks

JIRS organizes annual educational trips across the globe to allow students understand, absorb, interact and grasp how theory work outside classroom doors whether it is discovering the scientific revolutions at NASA convention center or learning the artistic aesthetics at the chambers of wonder at Swarovski Crystal Museum in Austria. The educational tours at JIRS enrich students’ life and add value to their academic journey.

Think Green

JIRS offers many exciting avenues to encourage and develop a spirit of adventure. We devise activities to sensitize students to appreciate the beauty and value of nature. Nature exposure to students builds opportunities to hone communication, leadership, crisis management, and team management skills in a challenging environment.

JIRS hosted Nature is the Best Teacher a nature trail program that allowed students to observe the diversity of life, flora, and fauna and draw values like synergy from a flight of ducks, perseverance from an autumn tree, transparency from a fresh and clear flowing stream, hard work by ants and precision from a weaverbird. By participating in the One-Earth foundation camps at Nilgiris, students learnt and engaged in building projects surrounding tribal life and people.
